Rikuichi Tsukamoto (塚本 陸一 Tsukamoto Rikuichi) is a minor character in the anime series Free! beginning with Free!-Dive to the Future-. He is the coach of Hidaka University Swim Club, coaching Haruka Nanase, Asahi Shiina and Seijuro Mikoshiba.
Appearance
Rikuichi is a middle-aged man of average height and build with purple eyes and short, black hair. He wears black corrective lenses and keeps a stopwatch slung around his neck. During practice he wears a brown suit with the jacket left open, a white polo shirt and brown sweater vest. Poolside, he keeps his trousers rolled up over his ankles and wears pool sandals.
Personality
He is a stern individual when it comes to keeping his team members focused on their sport. His voice is deep and commanding as he warns the Hidaka University Swim Club newcomers, which includes Haru and Asahi, to steer clear of anything that will distract them or eat into their practice time. When he asks if everyone understands his instructions, the group shouts agreement without hesitation.
