Free! Special Talk Event (Free! スペシャルトークイベント Free! Supesharu Tooku Ibento) is a color illustrated pamphlet of the Free! anime.
Summary
The pamphlet was one of the bonus goods sold at the corresponding Special Talk Event held on January 26, 2014 held at Nakano Sun Plaza in Nakano, Tokyo. The event itself was a special talk event with the seiyuu cast of the first season, featuring Nobunaga Shimazaki, Tatsuhisa Suzuki, Mamoru Miyano, Tsubasa Yonaga & Daisuke Hirakawa. The event cost ¥5,000 and had both an afternoon session (13:00 pm) & and an evening session (17:00 pm). Other goods available at the event included a hoodie, t-shirt, blanket, B2 character posters, & a tote bag, with the option to buy all of these along with the pamphlet as a set for ¥15,000.
The pamphlet itself featured a brand new and limited edition design on the cover drawn by the original character designer, Futoshi Nishiya; though the drawing would later go on to feature in Free! Illustration WORKS vol.2. The booklet contains new commentary from the cast and the series staff, as well as short interviews with the five members of STYLE FIVE alongside brand new illustrations of their respective characters.
