Comic Market 89 (aka Comiket [コミケット Komiketto]) is an annual convention for the Japanese comic industry. In 2015, the event took place at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, or Tokyo Big Sight.

As a leader in the field, the Kyoto Animation & DO Shop! was in place to present products from KyoAni's catalog of current anime, including: Sound! Euphonium, Myriad Colors Phantom World, BEYOND THE BOUNDARY, TAMAKO love story, Love, Chunibiyo & Other Delusions! and Free!. The light novel, VIOLET EVERGARDEN, made an appearance as the Grand Prize Winner in Kyoto Animation's annual manga competition.
